Of course our history
has sand and mortar, paint and sweat.
But it is mostly about good, courageous people who came,
joined hearts and hands
and built a congregation that has
endured. Of course, some have moved on.
Those who stayed have known insult and joy, privation and
elation, discouragement and accomplishment -- all evidence
of a life in the Spirit.
They found strength in God and in each other to celebrate life
here at St. Augustine's for over 8o years.
